I have a backlog of half-read Bitch and Bust magazines, which is where I read about some of the artists. Sometimes I read about artists in novels and google them. Also, a lot of the reading textbooks I teach have "response to art" bits in them, so sometimes it's through that. Occasionally I discover something new during a picture round at a trivia quiz. I just keep my eyes open, I guess. I'm quite glad I've started the Friday art thing, because it's made me more aware of the art around me.
